MINI ROUND BALER FOR HAYMAKING
MOUNTAINPRESS is a range of small round balers that press hay by rolling it into cylindrical bales.
The MOUNTAINPRESS small round balers produce a 20/25 kg hay bale on average every 40 seconds. The total output per hour is approximately 1,500 kg hay. The fixed pressing chamber is made up of aluminium rollers. This kind of bales are called "soft core", because the bale core is less pressed than the outer part, thus allowing the hay to have an appropriate transpiration and avoiding the formation of moulds.
On its outer part the bale is heavily pressed in order to create a water-repellent, protective layer. Hay is pressed without mowing or thrashing to maintain its quality by keeping the seeds and flowers inside the bales.
All of the MOUNTAINPRESS small round balers wrap the bales with a UV-resistant net.
MOUNTAINPRESS MP 550 is an innovative and one of a kind machine. Thanks to its handiness, reduced height and very low centre of gravity, this machine is specific both for hilly and mountainous areas.
The small bales produced by MOUNTAINPRESS are very much appreciated also by horse breeders, both because of their small size and of the high quality and high preservation level of the baled product.
THE ADVANTAGES OF THE MOUNTAINPRESS MINI ROUND BALERS
• use of small power units with low power
• baler small size, hence working in narrow places or on sloping grounds is also possible
THE ADVANTAGES OF THE MINI ROUND BALES PRODUCED BY MOUNTAINPRESS
• they can be moved by hand
• in comparison to square bales, the mini round bales are more resistant to bad weather and can be wrapped with plastic film to make silage
